We’ll meet Rick’s new army and Daryl’s new crossbow in Ep 10

Episode 10 of The Walking Dead is set to give us a new group, a crossbow, a “Caryl” reunion and weaponised zombies ...

AN army of new warriors to help fight Negan, Daryl getting his crossbow back and meeting up with Carol and even a weaponised zombie — it looks like it’s all happening in Episode 10 of The Walking Dead on Monday.

The preview video of the new episode looks to take things further after the little cliffhanger at the return of Season Seven last Monday.

The new group that Rick Grimes found is bigger than Negan’s ego, which is saying something.

Sporting a natty line in black outfits and living in a junkyard protected by weaponised zombies, they look like exactly the sort of people Rick needs to tackle the Saviors.

They appear to be led by a woman but who’s the masked figure with the boots that followed Rick and Aaron and nabbed Father Gabriel?

Rick finds the new group ... we’ll find out who they are.

Could it be someone from earlier in the show? If so, my money is on one of the survivors from the prison, who got separated after The Governor drove a bloody great tank into the gates. That could make things more intriguing, as they would remember Rick as a leader who was trying to give up violence.

While Rick attempts to win over this new group, we also see Ezekiel’s cosy deal with the Saviors is going downhill.

Ezekiel will face a tough time at the hands of the Saviors this week.

His Knights and a bunch of Saviors draw guns on each other, which has to nudge him closer to accepting Rick’s offer of alliance.

Plus we see Daryl with a crossbow and Ezekiel visiting Carol ... let’s join those dots together and hope for an emotional “Caryl” reunion where first we see a few hugs and tears, then Carol gets out the can of whip-ass and opens it on Negan.

We’ll find out for sure on Monday on FX on Foxtel, at 1.30pm and 7.30pm.
