The Walking Dead: A Herd of trouble is heading for Negan

Episode 11 of Season 7 takes us back to Negan’s Sanctuary ... but will they have unexpected visitors after Rick and friends disarmed the booby trap that was meant to stop a Herd of hungry Walkers?

HE’S baa-aack! After two solid episodes of The Walking Dead with only a whisper from Negan, the action returns to the Sanctuary on Monday.

The preview video reveals episode 11 will show us what the Saviors have been up to while Rick and the gang have been running around trying to put together an army to take them down.

Vision of Dwight reacting angrily to Daryl’s escape proves he wasn’t the one to let Daryl go, which puts the spotlight firmly on his ex-wife Sherry. After all, whenever we see her she is smoking — and there was a match in the note to Daryl.

Negan is not happy — and it also looks like Dwight is about to head off on a road trip that’s not exactly a happy one. Could this be the thing that pushes him to turn traitor on Negan, the way we all want him to?

Or is it something to do with Dwight having to fire up the branding iron for Negan again? Does Dwight have to watch his beloved (ex) wife branded?

We also see Eugene arriving at the Sanctuary to begin his career as a bullet-maker. That can’t last but perhaps Rosita might come along to rescue him?

Eugene does a great line in quivering fear — again.

We might also gain some insight into what’s happening at the various outposts — and surely that Herd of Walkers that was only part-dismembered by Michonne and Rick will come back into it.

Two weeks ago Rick and co removed the booby traps that Fat Joey had left to take out the Herd. But one bunch of dynamite went off to give the Saviors the impression that the Herd was toast.

Now that Fat Joey is resting in pieces, thanks to Daryl, this Herd has to pop up again at some point and hopefully cause all sorts of problems for the Saviors.

It could even be a great distraction for someone like Rosita to stage a rescue of Eugene.

The first two episodes of Season 7B have been great, so let’s hope the roll continues.
