Game of Thrones: Kissing, snarling and lots of fighting: Episode 2 has GoT the lot
EPISODE Two of Game Of Thrones looks like it will put the foot to the floor based on the short preview video. And any episode where Littlefinger gets choked by Jon Snow has to be a good one.
ELLARIA Sand and Yara Greyjoy cementing an alliance, the return of Nymeria the direwolf and Littlefinger being choked by Jon Snow — looks like it will be a fascinating episode two of Game of Thrones.
After the first episode Dragonstone set the table, it’s time to tuck in.
And, while the preview video at the end only went for about 15 seconds, it showed us plenty of things were going to happen.
Probably the most exciting is the potential return of Nymeria, Arya Stark’s direwolf that she made run away back in season one because Joffre wanted to kill her.
This has the huge potential to alter the course of the show.
Last week, Arya was on her way to King’s Landing to cross some more names off her kill list. She had fallen in with a bunch of Lannister soldiers that she obviously intended to befriend to get information, then kill one of them to wear his face as a mask to get her past Lannister guards.
Secretly, everyone was hoping she’d kill Ed Sheeran and that we’d see Ed Sheeran slaughter a bunch of people, then laugh hysterically and rip off his face to reveal Arya.
Obviously this throws away the long-hoped-for Stark Reunion at Winterfell. Or does it? Arya seems locked into her path of destruction, but will a reunion with Nymeria cause her to change her plans and head for Winterfell?
If so, she could find things pretty interesting, if the vision of Littlefinger getting a choking from Jon is anything to go by.
Frankly, who knows what Littlefinger has done to deserve it. There’s pages of stuff. It’s more about what has Jon discovered? Has Bran arrived and filled him in on a few things?
Then we see Jon heading out of Winterfell, presumably for a meeting with Daenerys and a chance to pick up some dragon glass.
On that note, we see that Ellaria Sand is at Dragonstone — and locking lips with Yara Greyjoy.
This ties back into Euron Greyjoy’s promise from the last episode, that he was going to give Cersei something to cement their alliance.
Ellaria Sand’s head would be perfect and we know there is going to be a sea battle.
Perhaps this episode will show us more.
Then there are the things we weren’t shown — what Cersei is going to get up to. A raid on Highgarden, perhaps? And Dany isn’t going to sit back either, so this next episode could see plenty of battles and violence.
We can only hope ...
