He spends 90 per cent of his time in the ruck, but Morningside tall Josh Thomsen broke the shackles last Saturday to boot his sixth goal of the season - and then celebrated with a backflip.
The big bloke had a set shot in the goal mouth, but it may as well have been a screamer from the boundary, given the way he celebrated the major.

Jai Mure (Noosa)
Mure has been a genuine, aggressive mid field muscle man who complements the team’s style of play. He is an ace goal sneak, and recently kicked five goals against Mt Gravatt
Kane Mathison (Noosa)
Mathison is a high work rate, high speed half forward who was recently thrown into the mid field mix. He kicked three against Labrador.
Jack Caspers (Noosa)
A bash and crash, hard work rate key forward, Caspers is great with his contested marks. He often wins at ground level and kicks goals each week.
Tom Steele and Jordan Chambers (Aspley)
Steele has speed, is clean with his handling and hits the contest hard while the crafty Chambers was a hard at the contest type who can also play tall. He has terrific lead patterns for his team.
QAFL COLTS
Harry Nelson and Jake Howson (Aspley)
Nelson is an under-17 eligible player who displays crafty, elusive skills. He is someone with a good goal sense.
Jake Howson is a sensation with his ability in the air or on the ground. He is also strong at contests and has a great lead.
Nate Smith (Maroochydore)
Smith is an x-factor player who has the ability to turn a game whether he is in the mid field or up forward.
Jem Nolan (Labrador)
Nolan has a great ability to read the play, someone who knows when to be attacking off half back. He has a great use of the footy and rarely wastes it.
Taj Hicks (Redland-Victoria Point)
Hicks is an energetic small forward with a goal sense you simply cannot teach. He has that sixth footy sense.
Matt Owen (Redland-Victoria Point)
Owen is the type of player who just keeps bobbing up on the scoresheet and the Sharks were lucky to have him.
Wilston Grange (Bailey Morgan and Archie Smith)
Morgan is a clever footy player who kicks goals on both sides of his body, while Smith is a front and centre specialist - a real money man.
Jack Partridge, Harry Marsham, Justin Bishop, Harry McInness (Broadbeach)
Partridge can be a bit of a funny man at training and on the field a tremendously versatile player, but he is also one of his team’s most reliable goal sneaks.
He, the super fit Marsham, upfront ace McInness and Bishop were terrific around the goals for the big Cats.
Jack Harrison and Reece Thompson (Sherwood)
When Sherwood gets rolling invariably these two outstanding players will find their way onto the score sheet. Troydan Ross has chimed in recently as well while Jack Slater can also steal a major score.
Charlie Corrigan (Mt Gravatt)
Corrigan can turn a game on a dime. He has silky ball skills and an ability to take pack marks which make him very hard to play against. Lachlan Warwick also has that ability to sniff out a goal - or play down back against or in the mid field.
