A young Logan teenager who died in a single-vehicle accident has been remembered as a “bubbly” person with the world at her feet.

Jimboomba woman Chantelle Schulz, 19, a manager at Hungry Jack’s Alexandra Hills, is understood to have been on her way to work to open the store when her vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a tree on Mount Gravatt Capalaba Rd, Burbank, about 4.30am on Tuesday.

Paramedics including critical care and High Acuity Response Unit responded to Ms Schulz in a critical condition, but she died at the scene.

One of Ms Schulz’s co-workers took to social media to pay tribute to her “best friend”.

“I knew something was wrong when you wouldn’t open my snaps (messages on social media application Snapchat) and I called and called and even texted you and you didn’t text back,” Ms Schulz’s friend said.

“I started getting worried I even rang the police but they couldn’t give me anything.

“I even went to work to check if you were there and that’s when I got told the news… my heart was shattered into pieces at that point.

“I still don’t believe it because I need you and you can’t leave me.

“Chantelle you aren’t just my work colleague, you were my best friend cause I knew everything about you.

“You being so bubbly is what I loved so much.

“I’m going to cherish all the memories that we have because you were the most amazing person.

“Thank you for being you Chantelle and I’m so glad that on Monday night I texted you and was telling you how much I loved you and I’m glad you know.”

Another friend said, “RIP you beautiful girl”.

The Forensic Crash Unit continues to investigate.
