Bargain hunters, fitness fans, pet lovers and car owners at one of the state’s fastest growing communities are in for a treat when a retail hub opens, complete with its own specialised fish room.

The new retail hub will have parking for 100 cars.

Bargain hunters, fitness fans, pet lovers and car owners living in one of the state’s fastest growing communities are in for a treat when a massive retail hub opens.

Shoppers will be able to pick up furniture and cheap household wares when Just Crazy Bargains opens at Yarrabilba Central in September.

Just Crazy Bargains, which stocks everything from gift cards, electrical goods, gardening items, outdoor furniture, party supplies and stationary, was set to open next month but delayed its launch due to importing issues.

However, this weekend, Snap Fitness will open its doors at the Wongawallan Dr retail hub, which has parking for more than 100 cars.

It will be Yarrabilba’s first franchise gym offering locals the freedom to exercise close to home around the clock.

Snap Fitness manager Perry Manson said the club would be a convenient resource for Yarrabilba locals looking to improve their health.

Snap Fitness will open at the Yarrabilba site on July 31.

“We’re very excited to open Snap Fitness at Yarrabilba and can’t wait to get to know our new community,” he said.

Pets Domain opened at the site two weeks ago and has already started to build a clientele.

Pets Domain chief operating officer Matthew Fechner said the family-owned business stocked goods for animals of all shapes and sizes – furry, feathered or scaly.

Pets Domain opened this month and has a dedicated fish room.

“Our Yarrabilba store will also feature a specialised fish room, do-it-yourself dog wash and pet Adoption Days which are always a big hit,” he said.

The aquarium is expected to stock a range of fish for all styles of tanks.

Queensland’s fourth Auto Masters service and repair centre, also has a garage and outlet at the site.

Yarrabilba is a masterplanned community and one of Australia’s fastest growing developments which will eventually house 50,000 people in 17,000 houses.

It is currently home to about 50 shops and businesses and its town centre is expected to open in 2024.

This month, Cash Converters confirmed it would also open at the new centre, which is opposite a Coles supermarket, health precinct and the site of the proposed Yarrabilba Tavern, which will open next year.
