A popular waterfront southeast Queensland pub has thrown open the doors on a major facelift featuring a new beer garden, sports bar and more.
Brighton Hotel now also has an exciting new menu and upgraded accommodation for visitors after the completion of the five-month overhaul.
The interior has also been modernised, with a new-look bistro fitout including two large skylights and lush greenery.
“We’re really excited to see Brighton Hotel enter this new chapter and welcome everyone back through the doors over the coming weeks,’’ venue manager Jerrad Athey said.
The new seasonal menu has pub classics and “produce-driven’’, caters for all dietary preferences and has seniors and children’s options.
Dishes included chargrilled king prawns with confit garlic butter and dill oil, wagyu beef burgers and classic chicken parmies, plus weekly specials.
It was still a value offer with selected schooners and house wines going for $6 during the Monday-Thursday happy hour.
There were also daily lunch specials, locals night specials and other daily specials such as Tuesday steak night and trivia night.
Children eat free on Sundays, when there would be entertainment.
The hotel was hosting a Welcome Weekend from Friday May 17 to Sunday May 19 with a line-up of specials and activities running from prawn peeling sessions, face painting, petting zoo, meat raffle and a Cash Cube across the entire weekend with instant wins.
