A MAN whose drivers licence had been expired since 2007 told police he had been “too busy” to get it renewed.
Blair Yael Blade-Doggett pleaded guilty at the Sandgate Magistrates Court to driving while unlicensed.

At about 2am on May 16 police pulled over a black Subaru Impreza after checks revealed the registered owner’s licence had expired 4881 days ago.
Police pulled the vehicle owner which Blade-Doggett was driving. His licence had expired in September of 2007.
He told police he knew his licence was expired, but had been “too busy” to get it renewed.
He was fined $350.
