Taco Bell to open Morayfield store by the end of January

Taco Bell has confirmed when residents can finally get their mexican food fix at its newest restaurant north of Brisbane.

Taco Bell have confirmed its latest restaurant north of Brisbane will open by the end of the month.

The new restaurant at Morayfield was announced in May last year.

It is part of a wider development at a shopping centre complex at 182-190 Morayfield Rd, currently home to an Anaconda retail store, approved by Moreton Bay Regional Council in 2017.

A new petrol station is also under construction at the same site.

The new purple building has looked finished for a number of weeks with many residents asking, via social media community groups, when the new food outlet was due to open.

A Collins Food spokesman confirmed today the new restaurant will open on Saturday, January 23.

The restaurant will operate from 10am-11pm seven-days a week.

It will be the first Taco Bell in the Caboolture region, with the closet outlet being North Lakes which opened in 2018.

Taco Bell will open at Morayfield on January 23.

A Collins Food spokesman said approximately 60 people had been hired to work at the new venue.

He said there was a chance more Taco Bell could be opened in the Moreton Bay region in the future.

“There are a number of potential sites that we are excited about and we look forward to announcing them in due course,” he said.
