A 27-year-old man has been charged with six offences including two counts of serious assault of a police officer.

A KALLANGUR man accused of hurling glass bottles at police while speeding down suburban streets will remain in custody after facing Caboolture Magistrates Court this morning.

A solicitor appeared for Cameron John Wright, 27, who was hospitalised early Saturday morning following an intense police chase.

Police will allege they noticed Wright get out of a car on Quarry Rd, Moodlu, driving off in a BMW X3 about 3.30am on Saturday.

Police attempted to intercept the car and deployed a tyre deflation device but Wright allegedly continued away from police onto King St.

It is alleged Wright sped past the Caboolture Police Station, avoided a second tyre-deflation device and then drove down the wrong side of the road towards the Uhlmann Rd roundabout.
