Dusa David, 30, allegedly set her boyfriend’s Meadowbrook apartment on fire on February 10 and was charged with arson and attempted murder (domestic violence offences).

The Marsden woman had her matters mentioned in Beenleigh Magistrates Court on June 26, while she remains remanded in custody.

Defence lawyer Tamara Lawton said key witness statements and medical records were required for the matter to proceed.

“My principals are seeking disclosure of three statements as well as medical records relating to the defendant,” she said.

“Counsel has been briefed and there is an intention to send a 110b notice (to cross examine).”

Police prosecution said an officer’s statement was still pending and a doctor’s statement, as Ms David suffered burns to 40 per cent of her body as a result of the alleged arson and was treated in hospital.

The court heard that on the early morning of Saturday, February 10, Ms David allegedly threatened her partner before setting fire to the University Drive apartment.
