Former Mongols boss turned influencer Toby Mitchell has left his 400,000 Instagram followers stunned after his account vanished.

Former bikie turned Instagram influencer Toby Mitchell had his popular Instgram account deleted and has not been seen for weeks at the high-end bars he regularly visits with mates.

Mitchell, 47, is undergoing strict, court-ordered treatment for alcohol abuse, mental health issues and anger management, which he is passing with flying colours, despite also using his social media accounts to make veiled threats against rivals and document his frequent drinking with mates.

Before his account vanished, Mitchell amassed nearly 400,000 followers and struck up commercial deals to promote a mid-market French vodka company and a fruity energy drink.

The development coincides with the arrest of Yasir Al Qassim, 18, of Epping, over his alleged role in bungled June shooting of one of his closest associates, Sam “The Punisher” Abdulrahim.

The Herald Sun understands his account was shut down a fortnight ago.

He has since started a new account.

Among Mitchell’s final Instagram posts on his previous was a cryptic message about “walking away” from toxic situations, and severing the last of his online ties with members of the Mongols, the gang he was forced to leave in April.

Mitchell, who is also a former Bandido, posted the message after a brief appearance in the Melbourne County Court, where Judge George Georgiou praised his efforts in complying with a court order requiring him to undergo counselling, and to be of good behaviour.

Judge Georgiou said Mitchell “had not put a foot wrong” after being ordered to mend his ways.

Mitchell often posts dozens of photos and videos a day, typically of his dog, his mates, his gaudily furnished Southbank apartment, his workouts, his seesawing weight, new fashion purchases, beauty treatments, and the brands he was doing promotional work for.
