Brisbane November temperatures plunge ahead of summer
Only three weeks out from summer and everyone’s got their doonas out. The Bureau have revealed when Brisbane’s cold snap will be over, but plenty of locals are loving it.

If you’ve felt extra cold lately and you’re not sure why: you’re not alone.
Over the last week, the average temperatures in Brisbane have been a high of 25.1 and a low of 15.4.
After heatwave conditions in South East Queensland at the end of October, temperatures dropped by 10C last week and have continued over several days.
The cooler than average temperatures only weeks out from summer has been a topic of discussion on social media.
Responses were mixed, with Reddit user kepft not a fan of the current weather: “I miss those times where it would get warm in September and would be in its 30s during October. This is not the Australia I know”
Not everyone is against the current cold snap. Reddit user ButchersIyaki said: “As a welder who wears leather every day … Im loving every minute of this.”
WhiteMoon — Rabbit said they were “thriving” in the cooler weather.
“I’m allergic to those hot sticky sunny days, I’m prepared to do the rain dance every morning to keep this going,” they said.
Harry Clark, Senior Meteorologist at the Bureau of Meteorology, said current temperatures were around three degrees lower than the November average.
“We’ve had southeasterly wind flow due to high pressure in the Tasman Sea and because of this temperatures remain lower than average.”
The wind is expected to switch as we move towards the weekend when temperatures are expected to be closer to average.
