Firefighting crews spent almost 12 hours on the scene of a truck rollover on a regional highway after the heavy vehicle rolled and its semi-trailer caught on fire.
Emergency services were called to the scene of the crash on the New England Highway near Dalveen just after 9.30am on Monday morning.
A Queensland Fire Department spokesman said three fire crews responded to the incident near Mitchells Rd.
At 10.30am, fire crews were still working to get the blaze under control.
The QFD spokesman said heavy machinery was called in to assist with the clean up of the wreck, with crews having fully extinguished the fire just after 8pm on Monday.
A Queensland Police Service spokesman said the semi-trailer erupted into flames after rolling down an embankment.
The QPS spokesman said police remained on scene to assist with traffic control until the late afternoon on Monday.
An investigation is ongoing into what caused the heavy vehicle, believed to be carrying produce, to roll over, with police believing the circumstances to be non-suspicious.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the truck driver was assessed by paramedics and would likely be taken to hospital.
There are no further traffic delays to the New England Highway.
