Warwick ‘drink driver’ charged after being nabbed with alleged BAC 0.237

A Warwick woman will soon front court after she was allegedly nabbed behind the wheel at almost five times the legal alcohol limit.
Police claim the 34-year-old was caught on Victoria Street at about 5pm on Friday, where she returned a blood alcohol concentration of 0.237.
The alleged high-range reading meant the woman’s licence was suspended on the spot.
The Warwick woman was charged with drink driving and is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on August 16.
It was a busy weekend on the roads for Warwick traffic police, with another alleged drink driver caught only a couple of days later.
Police pulled over the 21-year-old woman on Percy Street at about 2am on Sunday, where she allegedly returned a BAC of 0.053.
The Warwick woman was also charged with drink driving and is due to appear in Warwick Magistrates Court on August 23.
