Man in 40s arrested and charged following alleged Warwick robbery
Local authorities have been busy over the past few days following an alleged wild robbery of a Warwick business and in a separate incident a cattle truck collision caused commuter chaos in the region.

Alleged robbery
A Warwick man is in custody following an alleged wild robbery at a Rose City business on Thursday.
The man, aged in his 40s, is being held in police custody following an alleged incident at a tool store on Albion St shortly after 1pm.
It is alleged the man entered the store and stole a chainsaw before attempting to flee into a waiting car.
It is believed the shop owner, who alerted police to the incident, followed the man outside and entered the getaway car to confront the thief.
It’s further alleged a male in the vehicle has threatened the shop owner with a knife, who then exited the vehicle before it then sped off.
It can be revealed the man is facing five charges, including armed robbery, two charges of stealing, and one charge each of supplying and possessing dangerous drugs.
The man is yet to make a plea on any of the charges.
He appeared briefly in Toowoomba Magistrates Court, and was refused bail and will appear again on June 24.
Cattle truck crash
Emergency services and energy workers spent all day Sunday cleaning up the mess following a cattle truck rollover on Albion St, near the Warwick CBD.
Police and fire crews attended the scene of the crash on Albion Street, which occurred at 10.10am near the intersection of Alice St that features a sharp bend.
Following the crash, several cattle were euthanized and some were rounded up after wandering off.
It is understood power was not restored to several lights on the street until Sunday night.
The driver of the truck was unhurt.
It is understood in the coming days and week the road will be closed for works including damage to the bridge and guardrail.
Police on Monday confirmed investigations into the matter are continuing.
