West Woombye crash: Truck rolls into dam on Blackall Range Rd
A north Brisbane man has died and another man is recovering in hospital after a truck veered off the road and rolled into a dam at the Sunshine Coast hinterland.

A 32-year-old North Lakes man has died after a truck carrying a digger rolled into a dam in the Sunshine Coast hinterland on Friday afternoon.
According to Queensland Police Service the tip truck was heading northeast along Blackall Range Rd, near Shekinah Crt in West Woombye, when it left the road and rolled into a dam.
The North Lakes man was found dead at the scene, while the driver, a 27-year-old Deception Bay man, was taken to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Investigations are continuing with witnesses, or anyone with information or dashcam footage urged to contact police.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the two men were trapped in the truck for some time after the crash was reported at 12.50pm.
A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesman said three crews were on scene and were using hydraulic equipment to gain access to the truck.

A Queensland Police spokeswoman said the road was closed.
