One person critical after crashes in Coolum Beach, Buderim
A young motorbike rider has been rushed to hospital after two crashes in less than two hours on Sunshine Coast roads.

A young motorbike rider is in a critical condition in hospital after he suffered a head injury in a crash at Buderim on Friday morning.
It was one of two crashes reported in less than two hours on the Sunshine Coast, after emergency services rushed to another in Coolum Beach around 6.30am.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman said the man, who was in his 20s, was rushed to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a critical condition with head injuries.
A hospital spokesperson has confirmed he is still in a critical condition.
The QAS spokeswoman said emergency services were called to the Buderim crash around 7.30am at Bluebush Ave and Wises Rd after a motorbike and a car collided.
The people in the car, a woman and two children, declined transport to hospital, she said.
Traffic at the scene was being diverted off Wises Rd and onto Bluebrush Avenue.

Earlier Friday morning traffic was affected at Coolum Beach after a single car crash on Yandina Coolum Rd and Quanda Rd.
Paramedics assessed one person for minor injuries.
