The number of charges against a Sunshine Coast security guard has soared after another five alleged victims came forward sparking more than 20 fresh charges.

Former Ocean Street security guard Callum Luke Westcott Fisher, 23, has been charged with further offences including deprivation of liberty, disabling in order to commit indictable offence and stalking.

The fresh charges relate to a further five complaints from women who came forward after Mr Fisher was first charged in March, 2022.

The Ocean Street security guard had initially been charged with more than 30 offences on March 19 after four women made complaints to police and more charges were laid on March 21 when another 15 women came forward.

On Tuesday night, police announced that more than 20 additional charges had been laid against the man with police alleging that a total of 24 women were impacted between January, 2021 and February, 2022.

The women are not known to each other.

Police said Mr Fisher met two of his accusers while he was working as a security guard in the Maroochydore Safe Night precinct.

He was initially arrested after a Sunshine Coast address was searched on March 18, before he was remanded in custody.
