Elaman Creek crash leaves motorcyclist with serious injuries

A motorcycle rider has been seriously injured after he went over the handlebars of his bike at a motocross park in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland.
Emergency services, including a rescue helicopter, were called to the scene on Maleny Kenilworth Rd at Elaman Creek at 2.12pm on October 15, to reports of a serious motorcycle crash.
A Queensland Ambulance Spokeswoman said the rider, a man in his 30s, suffered “significant” abdominal and chest injuries.
He was flown to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a serious condition.
The spokesperson confirmed on October 16 the crash had happened at the Sunshine Coast Motorcycle Club at Green Park.
