Two people injured in serious car crash on the Bruce Hwy at St Lawrence
A woman has been flown to hospital after she and a man suffered serious injuries in a crash on the Bruce Highway, north of Rockhampton. Here’s what we know.

A woman in her late teens has been flown to hospital after she and a man suffered serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash on the Bruce Highway on Sunday morning.
Emergency services were called to the crash at St Lawrence at 4.11am.
A vehicle with four people on board, exited the highway travelling north and impacted with trees.
Queensland Ambulance Service said paramedics treated a man and a woman on scene in serious conditions.
RACQ CapRescue was tasked to attend the crash.
Upon arrival, the on-board flight medical team provided further assistance to stabilise the man and woman prior to ground and air transport.
A QAS spokeswoman said the man was taken by road to Mackay Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
The woman was flown to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with suspected spinal and head injuries for further scans and treatment.
A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said the Bruce Highway reopened just before 7am.
