A stolen car has crashed in North Rockhampton on Sunday afternoon and police are searching for three male occupants seen fleeing on foot.

Emergency services crews were called to Bramble Street about 3.15pm after the vehicle reportedly rolled.

Witnesses reported seeing three males, aged between 15 and 25, running from the crash scene.

Initial reports from police indicate the vehicle is stolen, is now not drivable and will have to be towed to a holding yard.

A nearby resident spoken to by this publication summed up how the community is feeling after yet another incident involving a stolen vehicle.

“Enough is enough - when will it stop?” she said.

“This stuff seems to be happening every day now.”

Earlier on Sunday in a separate incident, a dramatic dawn police operation unfolded on Rockhampton’s outskirts with a dog squad chasing juveniles into swampland near Yeppen Lagoon after highway stingers stopped a stolen car.

Prior to that, a trio of thieves crashed a stolen ute through the front doors of a Blackwater store in the early hours of New Year’s Day before targeting the cash register.
