One critical following serious Burnett Highway crash at Lawgi Dawes

A man has died in a single vehicle rollover on the Burnett Highway where multiple emergency crews were called to the scene. UPDATES.

One person has sustained critical injuries following a single vehicle crash at Lawgi Dawes.

A man has died following a serious crash on the Burnett Highway on Monday night.

Multiple emergency crews were called to the single-vehicle rollover at Lawgi Dawes, southeast of Biloela, just before 7pm.

Initial investigations indicate about 6.55pm a 2004 BMW X5 was driving along the Burnett Highway near Schabs Rd before it rolled.

Queensland Fire and Emergency Services had two crews attend the scene who used hydraulic cutting equipment.

The 52-year-old driver and sole occupant from Clermont, died at the scene.

The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating the circumstances of the crash and is appealing for anyone in the area who may have CCTV or dashcam footage around the time of the crash to come forward.
