Motorcycle crash at Bororen near Gladstone, driver in serious condition
A man remains in hospital after he was seriously injured following a motorbike crash between Gladstone and Bundaberg on Monday.

A motorbike rider remains in hospital following a crash south of Gladstone on Monday.
Emergency crews were called to the crash on the Daisy Dell Rd and Bruce Hwy intersection at Bororen at 10.50am, about 50kms from Gladstone.
A spokeswoman for Queensland Ambulance Service said a man in his 70s sustained “a few” serious injuries.
He was taken to Gladstone Hospital by road in a serious condition.
Daisy Dell Rd is bitumen at the intersection and turns into dirt soon after. There is a stop sign at the intersection.
The highway was blocked in both directions for two hours before eventually reopening to a single lane.
On Tuesday morning the man remained in Gladstone Hospital where he was in a stable condition.
