Emerald Police appeal to community for help during alleged fraud investigation
Police have released images of a man who they believe might be able to assist them with investigations into alleged fraud in Emerald, Capella, Clermont and Townsville this month.

Police investigators from the Emerald Criminal Investigation Branch have released images of a man who they say may be able to help them with their enquiries into several incidents of alleged fraud in Emerald, Capella, Clermont and Townsville this month.
Police allege stolen funds were tracked to hotels in these towns between January 8 and 11.
Investigators are also seeking information on a silver/beige Mitsubishi Outlander which was spotted at a Mayfair Tavern on Mayfair Drive, Emerald around 2.00pm in Emerald on January 8, and a white Mahindra utility sighted at Stuart Hotel on Stuart Drive, Townsville at around 9.15am in Townsville on January 11.
Anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage of these areas between January 8 and 11 are urged to contact police.
