Biloela teen charged after alleged stolen car intercepted on Rockhampton Yeppoon Rd
A teenage boy will face court accused of fleeing Biloela in an allegedly stolen vehicle and arrested in Rockhampton. Here’s what happened.

A teenager has been charged after he allegedly fled from a stolen SUV after it had been forcefully stopped by police.
The Mazda CX-5 which had been stolen from Biloela on Saturday (July 16) was spotted in Yeppoon about 4.30pm Sunday afternoon.
Police successfully deployed a tyre deflation device on Rockhampton Yeppoon Rd which stopped the vehicle before several occupants abandoned the car.
Officers then searched the area where they found a 14-year-old Biloela boy who was taken into custody.
The boy was charged with two counts each of stealing and fraud, and one count each of unlawful use of a motor vehicle, enter premise with intent to commit indictable offence and unauthorised dealing with shop goods.
He is expected to appear before the Rockhampton Children’s Court this week.
