Emergency services responded to two serious incidents in the Yeppoon and Rockhampton areas on Tuesday evening with reports a man had rolled his vehicle off a cliff edge at a property and another had rolled his truck at Rosslyn.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services, Queensland Ambulance Service and Queensland Police responded to Scenic Highway near the intersection of Rosslyn Street on the Capricorn Coast, where a truck reportedly hit a tree and rolled just before 6pm.
It is understood the truck was carrying dangerous goods, thought to be hydrochloric acid, and the driver was initially trapped in the vehicle.
The 5-tonne rigid truck was reportedly blocking the highway in both directions.
A man in his 40s was transported to Capricorn Coast Hospital in a stable condition with minor abrasions.
A Queensland Ambulance Service spokeswoman confirmed crews were also called to a private residence at Ironpot after an incident involving a front-end loader.
She said a man was being treated at the Yeppoon Road property, near Access Nine, for injuries believed to be sustained after a front-end loader rolled 6m down a cliff edge at another unknown location.
A man was transported to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with minor abrasions. Critical care paramedics were on-board for transport.
