The Morning Bulletin contacted Mr Hinrichs to try and catch up with him on Sunday to talk through what happened, but he had to work all day.

In his post on Facebook, he asked if anyone had dashcam from that area from Saturday, or any information about who could have shot at his car, to contact him or police.

“I’m curious to know if it’s happened to someone else or it’s been a one off event,” Mr Hinrich wrote.
