Truck crash on Bruce Hwy sees man taken to hospital

A man in his 60s is in a stable condition after a truck crash at Ogmore on Sunday, May 25.

The incident occurred at 3.59am on the Bruce Highway.

A Queensland Police Service spokeswoman said just before 4am, police received reports a truck was travelling along the Bruce Highway when it left the road and crashed into a ditch.

The 63-year-old driver was the sole occupant of the vehicle, the Queensland police spokeswoman said.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said the man suffered a medical episode prior to the crash and was taken to Rockhampton Hospital in a stable condition with chest pain.

A Queensland Fire Department spokeswoman said one crew was dispatched to the incident.
