Two people were taken to hospital after a robbery with violence yesterday where offenders were armed with firearms.
Queensland Police Service has issued an appeal for information, stating initial investigations have indicated two people broke into a Garnett property, north of Rockhampton, about 6am (September 21) while armed with firearms.
Police say it is believed the two offenders threatened the occupants and an altercation erupted, resulting in the two occupants being injured.
The offenders then stole a white Nissan Patrol wagon with Queensland registration 841LIN from the home and left the scene.
The man in his 30s and woman in her 20s both sustained non-life-threatening injuries and were transported to Rockhampton Hospital.
Detectives are appealing to anyone who has any information, or CCTV that could assist with investigations, to come forward.
