Noosa’s master serving of celebrity chefs after COVID shutdowns

Noosa Eat & Drink Festival's sold out Long Lunch is returning to Hastings St with celebrity chef Matt Preston.

Tourism Noosa is delighted there is a massive appetite for locals and visitors to mingle with some of the best culinary talents in the land from June 10 to 13.

Foodies will have a chance to rub shoulders with Colin Fassnidge, Matt Moran, Anna Polyviou, Alastair McLeod, Scott Pickett, Adam D'Sylva, George Calombaris, Matt Sinclair, Gary Mehigan and News Corp's food editor Kerrie McCallum.

The festival's line up has been announced for The Chefs Kitchen program which will feature intimate cooking demonstrations from Australia's favourite chefs on June 12 and 13 in a grand marquee at Noosa Woods.

The program features individual sessions across the weekend:

June 12:

10am: Anna Polyviou on the main stage with Diana Chan at the Chefs Skills Table.

11.30am: Colin Fassnidge with Kirsten Tibball.

1pm: Alastair McLeod with Luca Ciano.

2.30pm: Matt Preston with Ollie Hansford.

4pm: Adam D'Sylva with Anna Polyviou.

June 13:

10am: Mark Jensen on the main stage with Adriano Zumbo at the Chefs Skills Table.

11.30am: Kirsten Tibballs with Ollie Hansford.

1pm: Ollie Hansford with Khahn Ong.

2.30pm: Matt Preston and special guests with Diana Chan.

4pm: Khahn Ong with Laura Sharrad.

June 10

Noosa Beer Meets Noosa Chocolate - Land & Sea Brewery; 6pm-9pm. Noosa's first boutique brewery and distillery meets Noosa's most luxurious chocolate panners for a decadent pairing handcrafted with passion right here in Noosa.

June 11

Noosa Long Lunch on Hastings St - Hastings Street, 11.30am-2.30pm. Hosted by Matt Preston and Kerrie McCallum of delicious, enjoy live entertainment, a three-course lunch with accompanying wines.

Festival Opening Party - Celebrate the return of the Noosa Eat & Drink Festival under the iconic beach tipis hosted by celebrity chef Colin Fassnidge. Expect a few surprises including a guest DJ spot by one of our visiting chefs!

June 12

Lunch with George and Gary at Makepeace Island - 12pm-3pm. The private haven of Makepeace Island will offer and exclusive dining venue with George Calombaris and Gary Mehigan teaming up with island chef Zeb Gilbert using local produce to create a menu that embodies the Noosa region.

Red Lantern District at Sum Yung Guys - Sum Yung Guys; 12pm-3pm. The boys at Sum Yung Guys are teaming up with Mark Jensen from Red Lantern to bring you a collaborative menu packed full of influences

Sunday 13 June

Festival Sundowner - The Noosa Tipis on Noosa Main Beach, 4pm-6.30pm. Hosted by celebrity chef Alastair McLeod. Diablo Ginger Beer are joining us for the Festival Sundowner bringing together plenty of cocktails alongside delicious bites, live music and dancing into the evening.

Locale Finale Dinner Featuring Matt Moran - Locale, 6.30pm. To close the festival weekend, celebrated culinary whiz, Matt Moran, joins Locale restaurant to farewell the 2021 festival in grand style. Joining him will be Joel Bickford of Aria fame and awarded Locale chef Chris Hagan.
