Woodleigh’s Nicholas Hickey charged with armed robbery
A young man has been charged with three offences following a night-time incident on the main street of a quiet Mary Valley town.

A 23-year-old Victorian man has been remanded in custody over an alleged armed robbery in the centre of Imbil on Wednesday night.
Woodleigh resident Nicholas Hickey has been charged following the incident which is alleged to have happened at Yabba Rd about 7.45pm Wednesday.
Mr Hickey has been charged with robbery actual violence while armed in company, obstructing police, and contravening a direction or requirement by a police officer.
Few details about the alleged incident have been released, which police allege happened at a business on the main street of the town, located 35km south of Gympie.
Mr Hickey will return to Gympie Magistrates Court on September 4.
