The post, since deleted, was captioned “Kids did there (sic) first ever donuts on the beach today in Larry. Little rednecks!!”
Police confirmed on Friday (July 30) both the woman and the child had been charged over the incident.
A QPS spokesman said the boy was “dealt with” under the Youth Justice Act for unlicensed driving, while the 49-year-old woman was issued with a notice to Appear for unlicensed driving.
