Torquay woman to face court on assault charges
A woman accused of climbing a fence to get back into a pub after she was kicked out has also been charged with then assaulting a security guard and a pub patron.

A 53-year-old Torquay woman who allegedly climbed a fence to get back into a Hervey Bay hotel where she had been evicted then allegedly assaulted a patron and a security guard.
The woman will now face Hervey Bay Magistrates Court on September 1, 2022.
According to police, she attended the Scarness Hotel on August 13, and climbed a fence to enter the licensed premises after being evicted at about 11.30pm.
The woman allegedly assaulted a patron and a security guard who was trying to escort her out of the pub.
She was restrained until police arrived, and transported to the Hervey Bay watch house where she was later charged with two counts of assault while adversely affected by intoxicating substance, failing to leave a licenced premises and assault police.
