A rescue helicopter was called in to help just after 11am Thursday, with floodwaters surrounding the property and making emergency assistance difficult.

It is understood the man’s brother, who is a doctor, was the first on scene and provided medical care until crews arrived.

He was flown to Toowoomba Hospital in a stable condition.
