Dalby house fire: Home at Pratten and New Sts engulfed in flames

A man who was inside a Dalby home as it went up in flames has been taken to hospital as police reveal they are currently treating the blaze as suspicious.
Firefighters were called to the house at the corner of Pratten and New Sts at about 3.30pm on Thursday, where they found the home almost completely consumed by the blaze.
The man inside the home when the fire broke out is now being treated in hospital for his injuries.
It took three fire crews to extinguish the blaze and Ergon Energy staff were also at the scene to disconnect electricity from the home.
The house appears from the outside to have been completely gutted by the flames.
Dalby police Detective Senior Constable Digby Ford said it was too early as yet to determine what caused the fire, but it was at this stage being treated as suspicious.
