Revealed: Cody Porter crowned as Dalby’s cutest baby born in 2021

It was a tight race, but in the end only one baby could claim the title of cutest 2021 baby from Dalby, and for the winning bub it was a case of cuteness running in the family. Meet him and the delectable faces that rounded out the region’s Top 10:

We had an overwhelming response to our search to crown Dalby’s cutest baby born in 2021 and the competition was tight, with dozens of pinchable cheeks flooding our online poll.

But in the end, history had a sweet way of repeating itself, with six-month-old Cody Porter claiming the win.

What makes the adorable fellow’s win even more special, and brought mum Tammy Porter to tears, is that Cody’s great-grandfather was crowned cutest baby in Dalby many years ago.

“I am so over the moon, I can’t stop smiling,” Tammy said.

Dressed in a dapper little outfit with a cheeky grin, it’s no wonder readers choose Cody as their top pick.

Tammy explained the family had gone to Dalby Shopping world for supplies after the floods at the end of last year, and the photo shoot was a spur-of-the-moment decision.

“Cody just lit up like a Christmas tree,” she said.

It’s the gorgeous smile and giggle on display in the photo that Tammy says is her favourite thing about their “miracle baby”.

“His laugh is so infectious, he’s a very happy baby,” she said.

“He’s cheeky and vibrant and very playful.”

While Cody’s favourite parent change depending on the moment, being especially excited when his dad comes home off the tractor, it’s his older brother Riley that Cody seems closest to.

“They idolise each other,” Tammy said.
