QAS tends to traffic crash in Bundaberg

There were chaotic scenes as an overturned car spilt fuel onto a busy Bundaberg street, in what was just the latest in a spate of crashes on the region’s roads.

It’s been a terrifying year on the region’s roads, and it’s only one day in.

Paramedics tended to a serious crash on Bundaberg’s busy Takalvan St at 3.40pm.

Witnesses described the ute rolling near the lights and spilling fuel.

The injured driver was taken to Bundaberg Hospital in a stable condition.

Earlier today, a motorcyclist had to be taken to hospital after falling from their bike and suffering an injury.

At 1am, a man was tragically killed in a smash on the Bruce Highway.
