A man accused of manslaughter now faces two additional charges of dangerous driving, after a horror accident that resulted in the death of his teenaged mate.
Keegan Gregory Mccann had his charges mentioned on Tuesday May 16. It is understood the dangerous driving charges were not on his sentencing sheet when he was granted bail in December of 2022.
The charges arose from the shocking Bruce Highway crash in August 2022.
19 year old Isis teen Corey Kurtzer tragically lost his life in the accident, which occurred when the white Commodore allegedly driven by Mr Mccann lost a wheel before rolling into a drainage ditch.
Mr Kurtzer was a passenger who was thrown from the car in the crash, and died as a result of his injuries.
Mr Mccann did not appear in court on Tuesday and his matters were adjourned to a corrections hearing on June 26, 2023.
