An Instagram influencer facing drug charges after a raid on his Gold Coast home had his case mentioned in court.

Troy Kenneth Williams, known to his social media followers as “Troy Candy”, was charged with possessing dangerous drugs and buying or possessing a hazardous poison.

In Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday, Williams’ case was adjourned again to August 26.

It is alleged police found the opioid Tramadol and some CBD oil when they raided Williams’ home on May 19.

The influencer vowed to fight the charges against him after his brief appearance in court last month.

“We will be looking at taking it further, yeah,” Williams responded when he was asked outside of court if he would be contesting the charges.

He also said the police raid on his home was not “handled appropriately at all”.

Williams regularly shares videos of his lavish lifestyle, attractive women and luxury cars to his more than 215,000 Instagram followers.

An Instagram influencer will fight drugs charges against him after a raid on his Gold Coast home.

Troy Kenneth Williams, who uses the moniker “Troy Candy” on social media, appeared briefly in Southport Magistrates Court on Tuesday charged with possessing dangerous drugs and buying or possessing a hazardous poison.

It is alleged police found the opioid Tramadol and some CBD oil when they raided Williams home on May 19 this year.

On Tuesday, Williams’ lawyer Blake Fraser, of Fraser Lawyers, asked for the matter to be adjourned for case conferencing until July 7.

Outside of court Williams was asked if he would be contesting the charges.

“We will be looking at taking it further, yeah,” he responded.

He was also asked about the police raids.

“I don’t think it was handled appropriately at all,” he said.

After appearing in court, Williams posted a video onto his Instagram stories showing a still of his lawyer’s office before filming himself talking to the camera.

“Had my court case today with my good old Blake – always got a lot of faith in Fraser Lawyers,” he said.

“So that was a good day.

“And I got verified, finally verified on Instagram.

“So, thanks Q-Pol for the extra media attention. Just needed a couple of little bits of PR and we got there.”

Williams also documented the police raid on his Instagram the day it happened.

He posted footage from his home security system showing police breaking the door down and pictures of the damage.

Williams owns Eye Candy Motorsports, which specialises in vinyl car wrapping.

He has curated an Instagram following for more than 215,000.

He is well-known for his online antics, regularly posting videos of his extravagant party lifestyle, attractive women and hot cars.

Williams moved to the Gold Coast in 2021 and has documented his antics online.

In July last year he posted a series of videos of an alleged robbery by a group of teens at his home.
