GOLD Coast influencer Troy ‘Candy’ Williams has documented an alleged robbery on his Instagram page and says more needs to be done to stop troubled teens.

The self-proclaimed entrepreneur, dubbed Candyman 2.0, posted a series of videos on his Instagram story on Tuesday about the alleged robbery to his 165k followers.

The series of 12 videos showed Mr Williams talking beside a luxury car before opening the door with text saying “Little c***s took my s*** out of my mrs car!”

He then goes on to offer a cash reward for “legitimate leads” before sharing an Instagram account he believed was linked to the stolen items.

A video posted five hours after his first about the stolen items by Mr Williams tells his followers he had most of his belongings back and thanked those that got involved to help.

He goes on to lecture the alleged robbers for stealing from his pregnant wife’s car and warns them to think about the consequences of their actions.

He finished the series with a black screen and text that said: “Also to people asking ‘why I didn’t call the police?’ These kids have already been caught heaps by police and because they are under 18 they get a slap on the wrist. So that would just be a waste of time.

“It’s a sad loop hole (sic) but it’s the truth.

Anyways (sic) good night fam.”

Mr Williams told Channel 7 on Wednesday the culprits targeted him and his wife.

“They knew who we were because they tagged us when they stole it and said ‘we’ve got your stuff Troy Candy’ and obviously the car is very recognisable,” he said.

He said he went to the houses of the teens who had stolen from him and met their parents.

He told Channel 7 it was “confronting to see” a mother break down in tears and describe her child as “off the rails”.

“All in all they have a loophole because of the justice system. They can’t really get hurt,” he said.

“I know a lot of people who have come from nothing and they have a lot of respect for people.

“The solution can only be the justice system. You can’t tell people to take it into their own hands or something really bad is going to happen.”
