After years of struggling with her body image, Patricia Schwarz, 35, has become comfortable “embracing” herself.
Ms Schwarz, a mother-of-two from Redcliffe in the Moreton Bay region north of Brisbane, works as a self-love coach (Self-love with Trisha) as well as a professional reviewer of adult pleasure toys.
What started as a healthy living business turned into a coaching program focused on helping women love themselves after Ms Schwarz joined OnlyFans – an online content subscription service mainly used for sharing explicit adult content – in early 2022.
Ms Schwarz is unapologetically passionate about the adult industry.
“Without starting to work in the adult industry, I don’t think I would have become a self-love coach,” she said.
“It all prepared and led me to it.
“Helping women to change their lives is one of the most rewarding things, after being a mum to my beautiful children.”
Ever since she finished breastfeeding, Ms Schwarz said she struggled with accepting her “saggy mum boobs”.
“I was uncomfortable walking around without a bra, felt uncomfortable taking it off when I was intimate with anyone and even looking at them when naked wasn’t a nice feeling,” she said.
“Since I am now working in the adult industry, I have fallen in love with my own body and my saggy mum boobs.
“Showing myself nude was raw, vulnerable yet so empowering.
“Stepping outside my comfort zone, that’s when the magic happens, the growth.
“The more I did it, the more comfortable I became in embracing myself. My saggy mum boobs are my unique story.”
Ms Schwarz said her children do not fully understand what her work entails, but they are aware she is a self-love coach.
“My daughter is seven and she finds it very inspiring,” Ms Schwarz said.
“She said it’s sad to know that there are women out there who don’t love themselves and she loves that I am helping them to love themselves.”
Ms Schwarz said she is proud her daughter is able to come to her for support.
“She already came to me telling me she had a crush on a boy at school,” Ms Schwarz said.
“I felt so honoured that she shared this with me.
“It’s one of many goals that she feels safe to share her life journey with me and knows she can seek support from me.”
As a professional adult pleasure toy reviewer, Ms Schwarz is in no rush to get into a relationship, however she is open to the possibility.
“Each journey has taught me more about myself and helped me to connect with myself,” she said.
“How can you expect someone else to know how to pleasure you when you don’t know it yourself?”
Ms Schwarz said her goal is to help women “reclaim their bodies” and “close the orgasm gap”.
“It’s time to stop faking orgasms or believing we are broken, but instead own our pleasures and embrace ourselves,” she said.
