A father has shared a hilariously relatable set of notes sent by his son just 10 minutes apart.
The man posted the letters from his 5-year-old, written in the heat of a tantrum.
It all started when the boy asked his dad for help with reading.

"I don't even like you"
“He was mad because I read something to him instead of slowly sounding out the sounds for him to read himself,” the father explained.
Not long after, he received the first note from his agitated son.
“You’re the worst dad in the world. I don’t even like you,” it read.
Wanting to handle his son’s emotions calmly, the father decided to give him some space.
He overheard his son telling a cousin that he “needed space” and chose not to intervene.
But just a few minutes later, the second note arrived—and it was just as adorable as the first.
“I gave him a few minutes to cool off and he came back with the second,” the father said.
The second note was a complete turnaround, written just 10 minutes later.
It read: “Sorry, sorry. I did not mean to be mean to you.”

"Crazy impressive"
Reddit commenters were delighted by the inner workings of the boy's mind.
“I bet those were some tortured 10 minutes for the little guy,” one said.
“He’s a little young to be drunk texting,” another joked.
A third teased “The important thing is he remembered to put your spectacular belly button into the drawing.”
Others were impressed by the boy’s writing skills.
“Your kids are writing full sentences at five? Mine can barely wipe her own butt at five,” one parent said.
“This is actually crazy impressive for a 5-year-old, so at least you’re doing something right,” another praised.

However, the father admits the incident has been a turning point in his parenting journey.
“There’s no more spelling things to communicate while they’re in the room,” he revealed, adding that the incident led to an important discussion about feelings.
“He reset and was great the whole rest of the day,” he shared.
“I tell my son that it’s important for both of us to understand the “why” of it, so we can work through it together.”
For now, dad might be off the hook—but he’ll want to watch out for any future ‘official complaints’ in crayon.
