HOLLYWOOD star Alexander Skarsgard was spotted playing tourist in Brisbane on the weekend.
The Swedish heart-throb, who is based on the Gold Coast while filming big-budget flick Godzilla vs. Kong, made the trip north, where he visited the Gallery of Modern Art at South Bank on Sunday.
While Skarsgard has flown under the radar during the past month in Queensland, eagle-eyed couple Vivian and Shane managed to stop the actor for a photo while he was perusing the art gallery.
“It was a short and sweet encounter. He seems a genuine person, very gentle and not snobbish at all,” said Vivian, an American tourist who said the meeting was an amazing way to remember Brisbane.
Skarsgard, who previously filmed the Legend of Tarzan with Gold Coaster Margot Robbie and Big Little Lies with fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman, has been spotted regularly shopping at Coles in Miami during his stay on the Gold Coast.
He also made the trip to Melbourne to attend the Australian Open and has also recently visited Movie World, which neighbours the Village Roadshow Studios set.
