What makes this place really special is the view. Oh, and the service, and the atmosphere, and the food. It's hard to fault. The bar is country cosy and well stocked, with Bulmers cider on tap. The dining room is large and hums with genteel activity, especially on weekends, when the daily specials board is chalked up. Sit outside on the deck and you are treated to a rolling green panorama of trees and horse paddocks. Children roam free on the lawn, and well-behaved dogs are welcome. The salt-and-pepper squid and the chicken burger are good options.
