It's all basics and favourites at this longstanding local standby, where the food remains dependably fresh and tasty, service terrific and prices eminently reasonable. Chicken wings and hoy jor (chicken and crab in fried bean curd skin) are standouts among the entrees, along with po tak (hot and sour soup). Amid the usual curry and stir-fry mains, make space for exceptional fish and seafood: barbecued king prawns or calamari, squid with salted duck egg and magnificent whole fish in spices. The Randwick area may have no shortage of quality cheap Thai, but this ranks among the very best of them.
