After years of running Carabella tapas bar, Ricky Ocampo certainly knows how to drop the right names into the conversation, stocking his casual, comfy cafe - directly under the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Bradfield Highway - with some of the best providores in town. The jams he makes himself, but the coffee is outsourced to Allpress, whose Carmelo blend ($3.50), he says, has such a hint of caramel that his regulars have stopped taking sugar with it.
