Not sure what to choose from the extensive menu and specials list? Don't worry, the service is friendly but not fast, so you'll have plenty of time to peruse the burgers, salads, seafood and other morsels on offer. Once we ordered our battered fish and chips, garlic bread and pesto chicken salad with rocket, feta and almonds, it took no time to get to the table. The food was good and filling - we had no room left to try dessert or even a fresh vegetable juice or herbal tea. But the standout at this 1940s riverside pub is the well-shaded, expansive beer garden. It's a corker.
