Cafe Ella
Contemporary
Various rooms, an upstairs, a downstairs and even a courtyard, make this place feel almost more household than cafe. But your at-home brekkie options probably don't include house-made bagels studded with blueberries. More classic Sydney-style brekkies on offer include double bacon and egg rolls, muesli with poached fruit and Greek yoghurt, and fresh pesto and sauteed mushrooms with soft-yolk fried eggs. You can also build a mixed plate with eggs and added extras chosen from a blackboard list; they're generously loaded with - depending on your tastes - avocado, grilled eggplant, tomato, grilled chicken or chorizo and thick-cut toast.
