Avoca Beach Hotel
15/20
Contemporary$$
Avoca Beach Hotel's chef has a knack of blending the right ingredients to create unique dishes. The Moroccan spiced chicken on mixed lettuce, chickpea salad with a creamy garlic aioli is complemented by a fruity drop of Tyrrell's pinot grigio. The hotel's signature dish, the seafood tower, is a pile of tempura barramundi, prawns, scallops, and salt-and-pepper squid, with golden chips and fresh salad. The Avoca burger is Riverine beef with seeded mustard, pineapple, cheese and home-made tomato relish on a white damper roll. There is a selection of meals for vegetarians and kids, and kids eat free on Sundays.
